Javascript AngularJS Developer - Lausanne.
Our client, a major international bank, is looking for a Javascript developer with a strong experience of Javascript frameworks such as AngularJS andExtJS. You will be required to architect and implement system features using advanced Javascript, Javascript frameworks and AJAX, REST API, HTML and CSS.
You will develop rich, interactive data visualisations including graphs, charts and other dynamic features and work with business analysts and Back End developers to define functional requirements, translating them into technical requirements.
You will have extensive experience in building world-class web application interfaces using your deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript frameworks. You will write unit tests for Javascript and will have experience of data visualisation tools such as D3 and jQuery.
A strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility and CSS-based design is essential for this role as is an understanding of Application Server and database development.
Some experience of web application development (Java, Ruby on Rails, PHP, Python) would be appreciated as would experience with SASS, Compass. Previous experience of statistical or scientific software (Matlab, R, Python, NumPy/SciPy) would be an advantage.
This role is to act as a consultant within the business to recommend and implement data visualisations and optimising the user experience.
