On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with proven experience in implementing application in core Java and good knowledge of Angular 5/6, implementing web based GUIs. Main responsibilities:
- Implementation of new requirements, with particular focus on scalability, architecture, stability, and quantitative modelling
- Interaction with other developers, architects, quantitative investment professionals
- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and approaches for portfolio construction, trade recommendation, asset allocation
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience implementing mission critical Server Side application in core Java
- Good knowledge of the latest versions of Java (Java 8 or later)
- In-deep knowledge of Angular 5/6
- Extensive experience implementing web-based GUIs
- Strong experience in highly available, multi-threaded low latency platforms
- Experience in Enterprise Integration Patterns (Spring integration, Apache Camel)
- Experience in messaging frameworks (Apache Kafka, Apache ActiveMQ)
- Good understanding of financial products, time series and risk management principles
- Previous experience of a development role in finance, eg banking, trading, asset management, risk management
- Fluent English
Desired skills and qualifications:
- Experience in DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud & containerization technologies)
- Experience in Build and Test Tools (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Junit, Mockito, GIT/Subversion)
- Experience in Behaviour Driven Development (eg JBehave or Cucumber)
- Previous experience with Agile methodologies
