System Engineer - Linux / Solaris (5318)

Your Qualifications:

• Several years of professional experience as a system engineer
• Strong background in Linux or Solaris
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (sysv or rpm)
• Familiarity in building packages
• Experience in a large environment with +5000 systems
• Reliable and hardworking with strong analytical and structured way of thinking
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English

Your Responsibilities:

• Automate the configuration of Linux/Solaris auditing
• Test the mechanism on various platforms and support the deployment of the auditd configuration in to production
• Enabling & configuring auditd on Solaris & Linux, benchmark the performance impact
• Follow established guidelines, processes, design standards and enterprise development
