Application Supporter (L3)
Our client, headquartered in Zurich, is an important subsidiary of a global company in the finance industry.
We are looking for an Application Supporter (Level 3) with software development experience. For this contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English-speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Scope of work:
- Provide in-depth 3nd level technical and application support across a number of in-house high-profile Asset Management software applications including incident, change and problem management
- Engaging with key stakeholders and ensuring high level service is delivered
- Leading major incidents
- Driving improvements across software applications including monitoring and automation
Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related field
- 7 + years of experience as a Solution Engineer/Senior Developer working in large-scale server-based business applications
- Experienced in: Java/JEE, EJB, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSF, JMS, JSON/REST, Web-Services, JUnit
- Experienced in logical/physical data modelling, SQL, PL/SQL and Hibernate
- Ideally experienced in .Net
- Ideally a financial background
- Strong problem analysis and solving skills
- excellent communication skills
- stress resistant
- English is a must, German is a plus
