Data Architect wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- 10+ years' working experience in technical design or architectural discipline in a global financial environment
- Profound knowledge of building architectures in enterprise data management, data distribution and reporting and presenting up to 'C' level in organisation
- Proficiency in Datamodelling, Relational database design in Oracle and Big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Cloudera and Spark
- Competent handling of Data exchange and system integration patterns including pub/sub, REST, batch and streaming along with enterprise ETL and data management and MI/BI reporting
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Defining key technical requirements and detailed architecture model for a strategic data management and distribution hub
- Communicating with SMEs for analysing, articulating and modelling the data domain
- Identifying and articulating benefits and drawbacks of different technologies and approaches, qualifying control and distribution of data across a diverse IT landscape
- Ensuring architectural artefacts, documentation and visualisations describing the target state IT application and integration ecosystem
- Providing architecture input into key architectural decisions and supporting development and documentation of the strategic IT target state
