For project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a motivatedSoftware Engineer - NoSQL / ETL / Java (5114)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting a team of dedicated IT specialists, who are focused on exploring the possibilities to innovate and digitize the Asset Management division of our client by developing tools for automatization. The scope of the project is to extend the current quantitative investment model for equities with new factors, obtained through novel data sources, and to assess whether such additional factors/data sources can improve it's effectiveness.
Your Qualifications:
- 3+ years working experience with ETL processes and developing new tools for automatization
- Excellent DevOps / IT infrastructure knowledge
- Exceptional knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Scala, Javascript
- Experience with NoSQL databases, e.g., Redis, Cassandra, Mongo DB is highly appreciated
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
