For a project at our client’s side, an international insurance company in Zurich, we are looking for aSenior Cognos Visualisation Specialist / Developer (5104)
You will play a key role in the development and implementation of a reporting strategy using Cognos BI toolset and work alongside the Lead BA.
Your qualification:
- 3+ years’ experience with the application of Cognos 8 or 10, designing reports with relational and dimensional functions, unions, joins, drill-through and much more
- 3+ years’ experience with Framework Manager, Cognos Workspace, Cognos Workspace Advanced, Event Studio, Transformer
- Experience designing interactive, customer appealing active report dashboards using RAVE
- Strong database knowledge with the ability to read and write SQL
- Strong communication skills with the ability to learn technical concepts and adapt to change business requirements
- Fluent English skills with additional languages as assets
Your responsibilities:
- Maintenance and improvements to the current operational and strategic reports
- Working with customers to identify new and more efficient reporting solutions
- Translate business requirements into deliverables and identifying new techniques to present data
- Designing and developing high quality strategic dashboards using active reports and mobile delivery methods
- Manage tasks in a fast-paced environment to ensure they are completed on time with attention to delivering high quality results
- Understand customer requirements and effectively manage expectations
