C++ Developer - Senior with profound relational database system knowledge wanted for our Bellinzona based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- At least 5 years working experience with C++, UNIX (Solaris), and Pearl
- Strong IT commercial experience
- Extensive experience with all phases of the systems development life cycle
- Know-how of standard change control policies and procedures
- Sybase ASE experience would be a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Working directly with allocated Project Managers, Business Analysts and external IT and business teams
- Performing technical analysis of the existing system as well as implementing change requests and new features
- Providing support for the existing systems where required
- Dealing with multiple tiers from the Java application through to the Back End databases
- Writing stored procedures in the Sybase/SQL Server databases and Server Side code to implement business logic
- Participating in all aspects of the project life cycle, following stringent rules and procedures for testing and promoting code in compliance with company change control processes
