JavaScript Software Engineer with Database skills wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- At least 2 years of recent development experience in JavaScript
- Proven experience as a programmer with multiple languages and sound database knowledge
- Expertise in knowledge-/memory-management and garbage collection
- Experience writing automations, preferably with IPSoft
- Good knowledge with one or more of the following relational databases:
- Oracle, SQL, and Sybase
- Proficiency with SQL (Structured Query Language)
- Large-scale enterprise, object-oriented design experience, knowledge of distributed computing and low-latency, multithreaded solutions
- Solid understanding of test- and behavior-driven development
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, solid German skills are an asset
Your tasks:
- Collaborating with database SMEs in writing automations using IPSoft solution
- Automating simple and complex support tasks:
- Database support tasks include, but are not limited to: Oracle, Sybase, SQL
