We are looking for a Junior Database Developer with just 1 years experience, to join a team in a large IT infrastructure in Zug, the role will be a helping hand while the infrastructure undergoes a large migration.
Would suit a new starter looking for some global enterprise exposure.
You will be mapping data between the source and target systems using a bespoke migration tool. Small database development tasks for customised logic may be needed. You will work with the application support team mostly in order to deliver the project. Will also do database related queries/investigations for support of the target system.
Technical Skills
* 1 years of experience
* Knowledge of relational database design principles preferable with Oracle.
SQL
* PL/SQL basics (reading for understanding, writing procedures and functions)
* Experience with source code control systems
* Experience with APEX development desirable
* Experience using ETL tools desirable
Non-Technical Skills
* Ability to work in team as well as independently under general guidance
* Problem solving/troubleshooting skills
* Attention to detail
* "Can do" attitude
This project and contract starts on the 1st March and will end on the 31st August.
