For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a Core Java Backend developer
Start: ASAP!
Duration: 6 months initial contract
Location: Zurich
In this project you will be working with an application in the Credit Risk area of a Swiss Bank in Zurich. You will be working with solution architects and business analysts on the design of new functionalities. You will be implementing new features according to specifications. You are PoC during the testing phases and you will contribute to improve the development process towards the market stakeholders.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications needed for this role:
- 5 years of experience of Java development
- Strong Knowledge of Java EE in multi-tier architecture and multi-threaded environments in general and particularly on Java EE Web Tier (JSF) and Web Services area
- Knowledge of Spring framework
- Experience in work with Oracle DBs
- Good command of Unix, WebLogic Servers and Enterprise Architect would be a plus.
- Maven, SVN, TeamCity
- A track record of using object-oriented programming techniques
- An applied understanding of the full software development life cycle
- Excellent communication skills (English language skills to business standard)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
