Head Application Management Credit & Risk
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Experienced Manager to lead the Application Management Credit & Risk department. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Role:
- Management of 5 software development teams with over 50 people
- Management of the project portfolio for Credit and Risk related Business areas from a Technology perspective, including collaboration with other Streams and IT departments
- Candidates will be managing multiple teams working on all topics related to Credit, Risk and Anti Money Laundering.
- Provide stable banking system in the functional areas of Credit and Risk, ensuring production incidents and change requests are managed effectively and to risk tolerances
- Senior contact for Change, Business and Design leaders in the Private Banking division
- Optimization of the team's performance by acting as a gatekeeper and enabler, focusing on individuals' strengths and creation of a collaborative team culture
- Budget responsibility for teams and projects
Skills:
- Extensive line management, project management and coaching experience ideally in private banking
- Very good command of English and excellent communication skills
- Candidates are expected to provide strong leadership and management skill, and experience in the areas of business analysis, software development and solution design.
- Analytical, structured and efficient way of working, ability to deliver complex solutions
- Ability to explain abstract and present technical solutions to senior Business stakeholders
- Ability to explain high level Business concepts and requirements to technical experts
- University degree or equivalent in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science
- Proven experience in leading teams, in the banking industry
- Subject matter expertise in Credit and/or Risk, ideally full knowledge of the UK Credit Lifecycle
- Project management experience, agile methodologies are an advantage
- Avaloq parameterization and/or general programming experience are an advantage
