For a 6 months project at our client, an international bank in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager - Internal Models Method (IMM) (4013).
IMM is a project in the Private Banks to address the revised Internal Models Method (IMM) under Basel III. Following the crisis, the measurement of counterparty credit risk (CCR) was reinforced within the Basel III framework, in particular the computation of RWAs based on internal model approaches consisting of several components, one of the components being IMM. High Level Impact has been assessed earlier in 2016 and the organisation is now mobilizing a team to implement the required changes across the impacted areas.
Your Qualifications:
- Project Manager with experience in IT implementations with financial institutions
- Background in the lending business of a financial services company
- Good knowledge of IMM
- Ability to engage with quantitative experts and flair for risk methodologies and models
- Effective stakeholder management, experience in facing senior business stakeholders
- Previous experience in change management working on regulatory driven projects
- Knowledge about banking organizations, processes and IT landscape in the STS area
- Strong relationship building and consultation skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery and IT implementation within the project
- Leading project, stakeholder management, adherence to scope, budget and schedule
- Manage interfaces to the various stakeholders (Credit Officer, Credit Analytics, Front Organization, Trading, Audit and other) with exposure to Senior Management
- Independent supervision of the IMM project throughout all impacted areas
- Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery and IT implementation within the project
- Development and execution of user training and stakeholder communications
- Lead the strategic IT discussion
