Role: Data Modeling Consultant

Required Skills:
-Advanced University Degree in information technology management, computer, engineering or a related field
-Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Modeling.
-Minimum of 5 years of recent experience designing Enterprise Data warehouses based on dimensional models.
-Datamodelling experience in managing Grants life cycle is preferred.
-Experience with Erwin or related Data Modeling tools and to capture metadata.
-Strong process and database design skills.
-Sound knowledge of data architecture principles.
-Knowledge of data management principles and practices.
-Experience working in agile development on data warehouse project with multiple iterations of model releases.
-Knowledge of data integration methods.
Tasks:
-Technical directions: The consultant will be a supplier to the International Organization and will act as a contractor working in the IT department of the International Organization, under the overall guidance of the Data Integration and Analytics Manager or his designee.
-Logistical aspects: The consultant is expected to work offsite from his/her own premises with short terms travels to the International Organization premises in Geneva. The consultant is expected in Geneva for meetings with users, requirements gathering and understanding of existing applications. The International Organization expects a minimum of 2 weeks of work onsite for each release and while the rest of the activities can be performed remotely. For the period of consultancy the International Organization shall provide access to a remote computer with necessary software licenses.
