Security Engineer, Banking (12 month contract, Zurich)
For our client, an international bank with a global reach, Swisslinx are looking for a highly motivated Security Engineer with a technical background and experience working on complex projects to work on a cross border initiative for data protection and application security in Zurich.
This is a 12 month contract with a strong chance of renewal starting in April/May 2016.
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven track record of min. 5 years of work experience in a similar roles as a security engineer or security architect
- Working knowledge & experience with one or more of the following areas in IT Security:
1) Public Key Infrastructure (Certificate Management, Cryptography
2) Data Loss Prevention/Information Rights Management
3) Network and Cloud Security Service (Web Proxy, Cloud Access Security Broker, Federation
4) Internet Facing Application components (Application Firewalls, Reverse/Forward Proxies, Single-Sign On)
- Working Experience with Windows and/or Linux on a System Administrator level (incl. Scripting)
- Experience with software packaging and versioning systems (Subversion)
- Fluency in English
In your role as Security Engineer you will work in an international team responsible for our client's data protection and application security. As part of your role, you will be responsible for topics such as Data Leakage (DLP and Information Rights Management), Core Security (Authentication, Public Key Infrastructure, HSMs), Cloud and Internet Facing Application security.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Creating high level and detailed security solution designs including required integrations with the bank hosting platforms and core eco-systems (ie Monitoring, Management, Reporting)
- Supporting product management and solution architecture to Identifying appropriate, feasible and effective solutions to requirements that have been identified.
- Ensuring that individual security solutions form an effective, holistic security mechanism.
- Designing the technical inter- and intra-product interfaces to meet the security requirements of the bank.
- Documenting the conceptual, physical and logical configuration of vendor products, in-house solutions and other technical components with necessary and sufficient detail.
- Performing necessary 3rd level engineering support for security products
