Application Support/Requirement Engineer (combined role & German speaking) wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your tasks:
Application support:
- Supervision of production support processes
- Responsible for the incident-, change-, release-, and problem management processes
- Defect analysing
- End user- and second level support
- Develop database queries and ad-hoc reports
Engineering and implementation:
- Track 3rd party vendor on deliverable
- Analyze and specify banking and tax business requirements and technical requirements
- System test and roll out of new functionality
Your experience/skills:
- University degree or similar education preferably in information technology or information management
- Solid technical knowledge about Linux and good recent knowhow in PL/I development with DB2
- Profound requirement engineering skills
- Coding experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL and/or MS-SQL Server T-SQL
- Experience in maintaining 3rd party application
- Banking knowhow, especially about financial instruments (Bonds, Funds, FX, TOFF,..) and transaction banking processes
- Knowledge about withholding taxing processes
- Languages: fluent German both written and spoken, good command of English
