For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a
Customer Experience Design consultant
Start date: May/June 2016
Duration: Permanent contract
Location: Zurich
Do you have strong interest and experience in the design and development of engaging user experiences? Experienced in or interested in working in a banking environment or financial services? Than we might be looking for you!
We are looking for a strong problem solver, who can work independently and work in team to improve the customer experience design. Open communication with different stakeholders and team-work are key for our client.
This individual needs to excel at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. It is a very big plus if the candidate has experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment.
A good understanding of contemporary user-centred design methodologies is a must. The candidate has a bachelor's or Master's degree ideally in interaction design, new media design or related design field.
Tasks
- Define the UX vision and strategy across an international bank
- Work with various departments of an international organizations to define and execute on the end-to-end customer experience at both the macro and micro interaction level
- Infuse the culture with a design thinking mindset - a creative approach to solving business, product, and user problems
- Consulting with clients
- Researching interaction design and UX trends
- Good communication
Skills/experience Needed:
- 3-5 years of user experience design experience for Digital products such as Web applications, tablet, and mobile devices
- Strong conceptualization ability paired with strong visual communication ability
- Exceptional design skills and attention to detail
- Ability to create user journeys and visual design concepts
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe CS and associated design tools
- Strong Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of common software project management practices (Agile, SCRUM etc)
- Understanding of common software development practices
