Our client, a major Pharma global player is currently looking for an Enterprise Architect for a 4 months contract in Switzerland.
Project scope:
The architecture team is responsible for all aspects of Enterprise Architecture, from ensuring IT Strategy is aligned with Business Strategy and Objectives, Roadmaps, architecture governance to innovation management.
Job description/Responsibilities:
- Business Objects Assessment & Review & Engagement - Business Objects have been defined as part of our Information Architecture. These objects need to be reviewed for, consolidated and updated to reflect to ensure consistency, completeness, correctness, relevance and address any identified gaps. Additional attributes and classifications need to be defined for relevant objects. This needs to be communicated and aligned with various stakeholders including quality, security and legal
- Business Function Review/Update - Business functions have been drafted for our Capabilities and incorporated into the overall target architecture. These need to be reviewed, consolidated and updated to reflect to ensure consistency, completeness, correctness, relevance and address any identified gaps. This needs to be driven with appropriate solution architects..
- Drive Solution Life cycle planning and update with key Solution Owners.
- Site's Capability Map update - Work with the various Capability Map owners (eg affiliates like France) to review their Business Support Maps for completeness and accuracy.
- GREAT Indicators - update and align various indicators and KPIs within our Enterprise Architecture Management tool with processes. Ensure and manage implementation with our developer.
Requested skills/experience
- At least 3 years' experience as an enterprise architect
- Strong experience in IT strategy and architecture management (incl. framework TOGAF)
- Good business management knowledge
- Strong consulting, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Good MS Office knowledge (MS Excel, MS Access, MS Powerpoint)
Miscellaneous:
- Experience in life science industry
- Strategic, international, and goal oriented mindset
- Experience with alfabet's planning IT tool is desirable
- English is mandatory, German language skills is a definite asset
START: ASAP
END: 31.06.2016
Workload: 100% onsite in Switzerland, some travel in Germany and to the Swiss affiliates is foreseen
