Bosshard & Partner is looking with Mandate 3424for a VBA/Oracle Developer (f/m)
Project environment
A global Swiss Bank.
Tasks
Build a new simple Services Inventory & Workflow Application consisting of approximately 10 Forms and 15 Tables, with additional reports to support Service Management Activities. The front-end to be built in Microsoft Access Forms, logic to be written in VBA (leveraging MS Access) and Views and Tables developed on an Oracle environment.
Requirements
• 5 years software development experience with deep VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), Microsoft Access and Oracle SQL skills.
• Experience with Developing GUIs in Microsoft Access.
• Oracle SQL experience as you will be defining the required tables and views and generating the SQL to create them. Experience of Oracle PL/SQL also an advantage for development of required stored procedures.
• Experience of the TOAD application beneficial.
• Software design, build and test experience.
Soft Skills
• Fluent in English (German an advantage).
• Independent, attentive to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines under high pressure, with the ability to multitask due to monitoring and addressing multiple issues concurrently.
