For our banking client based in Zurich we are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst Client data

Location: Zurich

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months

Languages: English

To further strengthen our team of business analysts in the Client Reference Data Program we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer and Requirements Manager. You will be part of a team of Business Analysts working closely with stakeholders from various areas to create innovative solutions and gather the respective requirements for the Client Reference Data program. As a method Scaled Agile Framework is being used.

Your tasks and responsibilities will cover:

  • Responsible for managing end to end requirements from IT perspective
  • Conduct business workshops to elicit requirements followed by in-depth analysis and translation to system level artifacts
  • Perform functional testing of built application
  • Serve as the linking pin between Business & IT and between IT & QA
  • Facilitate business buy-in through periodic application walkthroughs or show & tell sessions
  • Define work packages and coordinate tasks across fellow BAs to ensure faster turnaround and better quality of dliverables
  • Coach and instruct less senior fellow BAs, methodologically as well as from a functional perspective

Raise business awareness across the team through focused Knowledge Transfer sessions

  • Proven track record as business analyst or similar role (minimum 5 years)
  • University degree in business, economics, banking, mathematics, IT; further education (MBA, CBAP TOGAF or PMI etc.) is beneficial
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as Business Analyst and/or Business Architect, preferably as a consultant and in a setting with onsite/offshore components
  • Excellent planning, analytical and conceptual thinking combined with an outstanding ability to communicate and high delivery focus
  • Ability to influence and drive decisions with senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter personality, comfortable with driving change, questioning the status quo
  • Excellent knowledge of one or more of the following sectors (as well as consultant): Banking, Financial Services, and/or Insurance
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Knowing UML and Visio is a plus
  • Used to work in an international and multicultural setting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
  • Strong open personality and team player

Knowledge about banking processes, especially with respect to client data is a plus
