Head T24 Architecture Team (contract)

Our client is an international bank located in Zurich.

This position is within the bank's new Core Business Design Team (CBDT). We expect the successful candidate to have previous project experience in T24 implementations. The role entails the team lead for 4 people.

Tasks

  • Accountable for the delivery of the gap analysis of the architecture team
  • Coordinates all architecture relevant topics
  • Coordinates the Temenos contacts for architecture
  • Organises architecture workshops
  • Coordinates the Core Business Design Team (CBDT)
  • Tracks open items and informs all parties about taken decisions
  • Involves the Design Authority on a frequent basis
  • Manages the team and coordinates with other team heads
  • Supports the team with the coordination of Temenos resources and other teams
  • Supports architecture team to define staffing needs for their area (other teams, SMEs and application responsible on a need driven approach)
  • Supports Head GAP analysis Hub CH in building a strong team for the future roll-out phase of the project
  • Define detailed tasks/deliverables for the architecture team
  • Manage the project risks and escalates if required (proposing mitigation actions)
  • Provides guidance and direction to all parties involved
  • Status reporting on the progress/budget/actuals/forecast to Head GAP Analysis
  • Manages the assigned budget of the architecture team
  • Assures the synchronization of the results with the responsible of the TOM Target Operating Model
  • Assures re-usage of all documentation from the APAC project
  • Prepares the decision documents for the decision body
  • Ensure high quality of architecture documents
  • Defines and coordinates high level GAPs
  • Gatekeeper for the selection of relevant gaps
  • Responsible for the sensible classification of gaps into must, should, nice-to-have.
  • Ensure high quality of GAP descriptions and solutions as basis for the cost estimation
  • Resolves & escalates (if necessary) cross-team issues
  • Frequent coordination with other team heads and Asia project
  • Reviewer of the Business/Cost Case
  • Involvement in decisions with financial impact
  • Collaboration with PMO to keep track of decisions/sequence of actions with financial impact

Requirements

  • Previous work experience in a similar role in the Banking and/or Financial Services environment
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Strong architecture understanding/expertise
  • Good general Private Banking expertise
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of project management tools (eg WBS, status reporting, progress tracking, budget/actual management, risk assessment etc.)Good experience to work in an international, dynamic and diversified environment
  • Proactive, resilient and reliable personality
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken)

This is an exciting contract opportunity to join a leading financial firm.

Start Date is 01.02.2015

The assignment duration is planned for 12 months.
