For a long term project at our client’s site, a global bank based here in Zurich, we are looking for a

Senior C# .NET Devoloper with WCF / WPF (3433)

The successful candidate will be working within the STS Structured Products IT development team working with several in-house applications.

The following technical skills/experience will be required to be able to succeed in this role:
- Very strong C# & .Net development skills
- Strong understanding of OO concepts and design patterns
- Experience in Test automation
- At least 10 years of professional development experience (Working in finance sector is a plus)
- Ability to write complex database queries using T-SQL
- Project lifecycle experience: delivery on several large scale, highly complex projects
- Strong English Language skills (German is a nice to have)

Key Deliverables:
- Provide strong C#/.Net (WCF/WPF) and SQL development skills to the team.
- Help develop specifications with business analysts and technical leads to satisfy a wide range of projects and initiatives
- Drive high standards for code development and implement high quality development processes
- Perform regular code reviews to ensure development standards are met and that high quality is maintained
- Ensure that the development team is delivering to the agreed plan, monitor issues and escalate in a timely manner in order to avoid unexpected delays
- Collaborate with IT peers globally, in particular Zurich and Wroclaw, Poland
- Take a lead role in the entire software development life cycle including technical design, documentation, software development, unit testing & production implementation
- Support QA team throughout functional and regression testing of changes
