For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:
Application Supporter (Contract)
Job Description
- Day-to-day production support for a wide range of Asset Management applications in UAT and PROD environment
- Analyse and solve problems in collaboration with development teams and vendors
- Responsible for batch monitoring and execution, console monitoring and incident management
- Assistance in Problem Management Process and Change Management meetings
- Ensure readiness of application documentation/knowledge database as well as compliance of production readiness
- Implementation of changes in UAT and PROD
- On-call duty outside office hours
Requirements
- Technical education in IT (diploma or similar level)
- 2-4 years' experience in application support
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Servers as well as Unix Sun Solaris and RedHat
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle DB, MS SQL and relational databases
- Solid understanding of batch scripts with Control-M job scheduler or Autosys as well as knowledge of a script language (run, not write - Cornshell, PL/SQL, Windows Host Scripting etc.)
- Analytical, solution-oriented and efficient working methods
- Communicative, flexible and autonomous team player
- Fluent in German preferred and English
Contract Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (long-term intended)
- Location: Zurich
- Daily Rate: CHF 500.- all inclusive
