Job Description
Senior Business Analyst for regulatory initiatives will be responsible for carrying of business analysis in a complex environment with a large number of stakeholders and IT applications for building regulatory solutions like PRIIPs. (As this is very new it is not expected that candidates will have this experience although if you can find one then that would be great)
The analyst will produce business requirement documents, detailed requirement specifications and obtain signoff from the stakeholders.
The analyst will document and track features and change requests using systems like JIRA and enterprise architect.
The analyst will develop the test concept, high level test cases and maintain a traceability Matrix. During the implementation phase of the project the analyst will also lead the integrated functional testing of the solution.
The analyst will work closely with architects, lead developers and test engineers to ensure a seamless knowledge transfer and a high quality delivery.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8 years of business analysis and requirements engineering experience in large and complex financial services industry environment.
- Knowledge of investment products, structured products, derivatives, trading and order management systems.
- Analytical ability and experience to analyze and document complex business requirements and illustrate concepts using simple diagrams.
- Expertise in building developer ready specifications and test cases. Experience of database specifications development.
- Expertise in using tools like JIRA, enterprise architect, HP QC and PowerPoint.
- Exposure and understanding of multiple technology stacks.
- Knowledge of CS trading and distribution application landscape and experience of delivering large solutions/programs in CS environment will be an advantage.
