For our customer, we would like to fill the following vacancy:The senior solution architect for regulatory initiatives will provide techno-functional leadership to regulatory programs like PRIIPs and drive the program level end to end solution architecture encompassing several IT systems.
Job Description
The architect will work with several business and IT stakeholders to design, implement and integrate a regulatory solution consisting of several existing or new applications related to manufacturing and distribution of investment products.
Analyze requirements and current IT landscape to develop high level solution architecture.
Develop a service oriented architecture to integrate several source and consumer systems.
Develop detailed design for data sourcing, processing, document generation, document management, messaging, internet facing applications, Integrating document rendering service and document repositories.
Align the program architecture with bank PBWM target architecture. Collaborate with other solution architects to ensure seamless integration.
Create high level, functional and detailed technical architectural designs and presentations suitable for consumption by stakeholders at all levels.
Effectively communicate the program and solution architecture.
Skills and Experience
The architect would have come from a strong hands-on solution architecture background, with experience of 10 years in designing and delivering service oriented software solutions using Microsoft or Java technology stack.
The recent experience of the architect would include architecting large and complex solutions consisting/integrating several applications in a complex landscape in financial services industry.
Thorough knowledge and experience of service oriented architecture and service design and implementation.
Ability to produce and communicate excellent functional and technical design artifacts using tools like Visio, Enterprise Architect and PowerPoint.
Expertise in large database and document repositories design, internet facing applications.
Knowledge of investment products, structured products, derivatives, trading, order management systems.
Knowledge of bank trading and distribution application landscape and experience of delivering large solutions/ programs in bank environment will be an advantage.
Experience of working on production of investment products documentation like termsheets, PIB, KIIDs etc. would be an advantage.
