We are looking for a Junior Application Supporter for our client's 1st Level department. The department is responsible for the Production Support globally across the firm.
We offer
. An exciting and varied position as Junior Application Supporter responsible for Batch monitoring, Console monitoring and incident management of about 45 applications
. Provide day-to-day Production Support
. Track and solve tickets and act as key stakeholder for the applications you are responsible for
. Manage communication with internal clients within the Business and other IT teams (eg Application Development, Technology Services)
. Investigate problems involving multiple systems and other IT teams
. Assistance in Problem Management Process (NPL, Post Mortem)
. Ensure readiness of application documentation, update WIKI
. Implementing of changes following the change management process and ensure compliance of production readiness
You offer
. Technical education with advanced training in Information Technology (eg diploma at equivalent level)
. Multiple years of experience and a proven track record in an application support role
. Basic knowledge of Control-M job scheduler or similar job scheduling system
. Good listening and spoken communication skills in English & German
. Strong team player
. Interest to have a broad overview of our application landscape
. Extensive analytical and problem solving skills and an ability to operate under pressure
