Senior IT Project Manager (Discretionary Mandates)
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking Senior IT Project Manager. The successful candidate will deliver IT Projects within budget, schedule, scope and quality. For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensuring exemplary overall project performance and implementing corrective actions against deviations.
- Organizing all projects and initiatives in an effective and timely manner
You must possess:
- In-depth knowledge of Private Banking and Discretionary Mandates
- At least 5 years experience in multi-year project management within banking/finance sector
- Understanding of financial and IT organizations as well as the governance and the underlying processes
- Expertise in managing application development projects to satisfy regulatory or corporate requirements
- An excellent ability to work collaboratively and manage various stakeholders across cultures and locations in a global environment
- Very good knowledge of standard IT project methodologies (Agile or PMP Certification preferred)
- High-end communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of senior management exposure
- German is a strong plus
