For 6 months assignment at our Banking client’s site in Zurich, we are looking for a

German speaking Project Manager in Asset Management (3210)

Our client is looking for a temporary Project Manager to support the retrocession team in the Global External Asset Management Department. This role is ideal for somebody with a couple of years experience as a Project Manager and who would like to advance their career in PM. The role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to gain extensive experience of all aspects of retrocession and actively drive a business project to optimize business processes as well as enhancing and developing further the Retromart tool. Furthermore, the candidate will work in a small but dynamic and motivated team of very experiences specialists. The role also includes the current day-to-day business and offers the opportunity to work in Zurich and Geneva.

Your Skills / Experiences:

• 2-4 years’ experience as project manager / business manager with in depth experience in process re-design and tool enhancements
• Outstanding analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
• Structured and result-driven approach
• Proactive approach and very self-organized
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (ability to build trust and collaborate efficiently with various stakeholders)
• Experienced in managing an interface between IT and business (being Single Point of Contact (SPOC))
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken) and experienced MS Office user (Powerpoint, Word and Excel)
• Willingness to work several days in Geneva (depending on the project phase)
Desired:
• Proven track record as project manager (leading projects from initiation to implementation) in the financial industry
• Highly familiar with investment products and its fee component
• In depth data analysis experience
• French would be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and streamline / optimize existing business processes in the area of retrocession (incl. documentation)
• Review existing and establish new SLAs
• Responsible for tool enhancement / development of “Retromart”
• Enhancement of existing functionalities
• Implementation of new functionalities / features
• Manage interface between Business & IT
• Maintain and track change request list
• Specify business requirements for upcoming change requests
• General project related tasks (e.g. prepare documents for decision board, minutes, documentation)
• Support Retromanager in “run the business” questions
• Conduct day-to-day business
