Finance Controller - 4 months contract
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Finance Controller to join one of their clients, a well-known company. For this temporary assignment based in Zürich, we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is available immediately.
Key responsibilities:
- Review of inventory reconciliation prepared by SCE (System: SAP (FI - MM - CO)
- Review master data lookup tables for reporting line identification (source, valuation class, brands, management units, etc.).
- Review cross-checking all the inputs for data integrity
- Review assignment of reporting units and BS lines to individual entries
- Review posting monthly standard to moving average and sample revaluations to valuation classes and cost centers
- Review of goods in transit entries from data integrity perspective (assignment to proper BS lines and owners)
- Review consolidating physical inventories, reserves, goods in transit and manual adjustments into a single HFM report
- Review reconciling HFM lines and GL account lines to ensure overall consistency
- Review posting obsolescence provisions quarterly by considering CC and Valuation class
- Monthly management report (8 pages) and quarterly report for executive committee
- Owner of risk & control Matrix and new US SOX implementation
- Responsibility of quarterly obsolescence calculation in cooperation with other plant controllers & demand managers
- Maintain accounting & costing view for SKU
- Main contact for implementation of new supply chain flows
- Main contact for new supply chain flows related to Vaccines BU (complex)
- Member of supply chain committee including approver role for new product flows
- Responsible for annual physical inventory count in cooperation with plant controllers
- Contact for external auditors
- Ad hoc, involved in testing new SAP functions including documentation
- Involvement in Intercompany reconciliation in case it is related to inventory flows
Your profile:
- Minimum 7 years of experience working in financial controlling field
- Strong accounting/reporting background
- Strong SAP knowledge in CO, MM & FI
- Solid Excel knowledge

- English - Fluent written and spoken
