Description:
AR Accountant will ensure that the reporting of 3rd party AR Balances and EFA is correct, accurate and compliant. This includes active participation in monthly closing and reporting activities.
He/she will provide high quality reporting with insightful financial information for key stakeholders.
Lead improvement initiatives or projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of daily revenue and revenue deductions operations and processes as well as the collaboration with stakeholders.
Major Accountabilities:
. Booking and allocation of all payments of 3rd party customers
. Preparation of Month-End AR reconciliation files
. Assist in Cash collection with Credit Management
. Calculation and booking of Bad debt provision
. Prepare AR related FCRS schedules
. Responsible for performing monthly AR Cut off activities
. Perform AR related NFCM controls
. Prepare monthly as well as ad hoc reports
. AR Subject Matter Expert
. Creation and follow up of any AR issues to GCC Team
. Initiate and support system changes (enhancements forms)
. Customer Service Responsibility: Maintain good working relationships within the AR Team and with other teams in APL organization.
. Promote team co-operation and collaboration. Training/knowledge-sharing with other team members is expected.
Expectations:
. Education (minimum/desirable): Swiss Business Education (Kaufmännische Ausbildung or similar)
. At least 2 years of experience in a finance environment, preferably in Accounts Receivable department.
. English (written and oral) & French
