Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced PMO to join one of their clients, a well renowned financial services organisation. For this temporary assignment based in Zürich, we are seeking for an English speaking candidate who is available immediately or in a short notice. Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the quality assurance, compliance and risk functions
  • Responding to ad-hoc requests for information, interfacing though to Project Managers for the source information
  • Consolidating budget and forecast data, investigate variances
  • Financial analysis and monitoring of governance
  • Managing the reception of work and associated changes
  • Ensuring that coverage of work on the programme is complete; this is achieved by development of systems blueprints, the application inventory and the overview planning framework
  • Facilitating the resolution of risks and issues associated with the programme
  • Managing programme and project interdependencies

Your profile:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience
  • University degree (UNI, Fachhochschule, Master)
  • Previously worked as a PMO function in a large transformations projects and or Project
  • Prince2 practitioner or equivalent certificate
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Good configuration management skills:
    • Programme and project filing systems (physical and electronic)
    • Reference material currency
  • Good understanding of change control:
    • Procedures to manage requests for change
    • Administration of associated action plans
  • Good understanding of risk and issue management
  • Good understanding of financial management in the Bank
  • Good understanding of Programme Management approaches
  • Practical understanding of programme management tools within the Bank for
    • Scheduling
    • Resource management
    • Reporting
    • Analysis and communication of plans
    • Capturing actual progress, eg timesheets
  • Preparation of Materials for Decision and Governance Boards
  • An effective communicator with influencing skills at all levels
  • Good coaching and mentoring skills
