For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zürich, we are looking for aSenior Fund Tax Specialist - Luxembourg, Ireland, CH (5457)
In this role you will be responsible for conceptual tax topics with regard to our client’s investment fund business who covers fund platforms in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Ireland - FCP, SICAV, SICAF.
Your Qualifications:
• Good regulatory know-how with regards to fund structures in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Ireland – FCP, SICAV, SICAF etc. and/or proven practical experience in these fields
• Strong know-how in securities, derivatives, FX, corporate actions and instrument master data
• University degree in International Taxation, and/or further education with regard to taxes
• Strong inner drive to take on new challenges with the ability to keep cool in hectic situations and under pressure
• Attitude to thrive and good communication skills
• Excellent English language skills, German would be an advantage
Your Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for conceptual tax topics with regards to client’s investment fund business (in-house and third-party business) and institutional clients
• Monitoring of relevant (regulatory) tax changes worldwide, initiation of projects if required and implementation of new processes, functionalities or adaptions of existing processes to assure an adequate implementation of relevant tax regulations
• Cooperation with internal parties (internal and external custodians, Tax Operations)
• Cooperation with external advisors
• Clients / products: Tax feasibility, internal advice / support with regard to structuring of new products, changes of existing products for our in- and external clients
• Support in the structuring of new funds and onboarding of these funds with regard to tax topics around the transfer of assets
