The position
Based in Basel at our customers HQ Finance department and reporting to the Business Controller, the Costing Analyst is involved in all costing tasks for our customers business (for both 3rd party business and for the significantly increasing OEM business).
The Costing Analyst assumes the following responsibilities:
- Administration of the costing activities for 3rd party business & OEM business
- Coordination and implementation of the new transfer prices received from the manufacturing hubs (EU & US)
- Close collaboration with Supply Chain and Finance & Reporting teams
- Preparation and coordination of the Standard Manufacturing Costs reporting event
- Analysis of costs deviations, ad hoc analyses related to COGS
- Assistance in the cut off activities
- Coordination of the costing activities for new OEM vendors/new OEM materials
- Support in the on-going improvement of the costing processes and activities
- Expertise in the costing/material master transactions in SAP
Required skills
- Strong analytical skills and structured work approach with focus on quality and timelines.
- Used to work in a dynamic and international environment, team oriented.
- Acute SAP knowledge.
- Good business understanding
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent English skills
- University degree in economics and/or finance; or equivalent; 1 to 3 years' experience in similar function preferred.
Contract role - start ASAP until 31.12.2018.
Work load: 80%
