7N is a main provider of high-end IT and Finance specialists for client projects globally.
For one of our clients in the financial industry we are currently looking for the following expert:
Lead Developer/Mobile Software Solution Architect (m/f)
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: 31.12.2018
- Project location: Basel area
- Work load: 100%, onsite
- Extension: Possible, but not approved yet.
- Travelling: Limited travel, if the project requires, 0 to 25% possible (Europe & USA for meetings, conferences and workshops)
The program's focus areas are:
1) Design digital biomarkers: Define ways to capture clinical outcomes using sensor data collected from smartphones and wearables
2) Develop apps and data processing pipeline: Establish processes, software, and infrastructure to handle big data collected from sensors in clinical trials
3) Deploy digital biomarkers to clinical studies: Generate data to validate approaches and support decision making
4) Analyse and interpret sensor data: Identify signals for disease severity and progression in sensor data collected from patients in trials
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Design the modular architecture for the client's Digital Biomarker remote patient monitoring platform (ie data collection from Apps and wearables)
- Enable the platform to serve clinical development studies in a scalable manner
- Define the software development roadmap to implement the platform
Must haves:
- 5+ years mobile software development expertise
- Experience working as a mobile solution software architect
- Familiarity with iOS and Android ecosystems and the latest technologies and trends
- Experience in developing cross platform applications
- Strong leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodology (SCRUM preferred)
- Scientific & Manufacturing background
- Very good university degree (MSc. level or above) in computer science, business informatics, or similar
Nice to haves:

+++ Working experience in the pharmaceutical, diagnostics or related industry
+++ Scientific computing/software development background
+++ Previous experience at Swiss Pharmaceutical company
