Project Manager (BI/BW)

General information:

- Start date: ASAP

- End date: 31.12.2018

- Work location: Basel area

- Workload: 40% in 2017; 100% in 2018

Tasks & Responsibilities as Project Manager/Business Analyst:

As Project manager he/she will be responsible for the successful delivery/outcome of the engagement and ensure scope, approach, timelines, budgets and customer success is assured.

Manage a team of 3-4 remote resources. Multidisciplinary Team coordination (Authorization, Portal, Integration)

a) Project management tasks:

- Status meetings with technical team/Collect issues/check timelines/mitigate risks.

- Coordinate escalation of challenges and questions

- Test Plan/Test Report

- UAT/Dual running

- Cutover Plan

- Support Training Material creation

- Go/No Go Meeting

- Operation Plan/Hypercare

b) Business Analyst:

- Strategic Alignment: Work with customers to understand and identify the need for new products and services

- BI Solution Development and Testing: Assist customers with the analysis, design, development, and testing of Business Intelligence applications.

Must Haves:

* SAP IP and BW skills (at least 5 years of experience in including a full-life cycle implementation; experience with BO Analysis Office)

* Consulting skills - have strong interpersonal skills capable at building relationships across different stakeholder and functional groups in the organization, capturing and aligning inputs from these groups then driving them to an agreed direction.

* Demonstrated knowledge and solution delivery experience across the end-to-end process, acquired through delivery roles in global SAP implementations.

* Proactive investigation of issues and functionalities that may be required.

* Great communication skills (excellent English language skills)

* Great customer focus skills and attention to details (proactive, communicative and a "thinker")

* Virtual Team management experience

* Project management Methodology (PMM)

* Knowledge of change and incident management

* Skill in coordinating work projects

* Skill in preparing data structures, flowcharts, and logic flow diagrams

* Skill in working with people of varying technical abilities in a team environment

* Skill in determining the reporting tools best suited for a given project

* Knowledge of reporting concepts

* Ability to explain complex technical information in business terms

* Knowledge of reporting data elements such as data definitions

* Skill in actively participating in functional unit testing, integration testing, stress testing, systems testing, and user acceptance testing.

Nice to Haves:

+ Knowledge of standard industry ERP technologies such as SAP Finance (FI, CO, COPA) is a plus.

+ Expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables, Analysis techniques and VBA is a plus.

+ Previous pharma experience

+ Certificate SAP BI & PMP
