For our client in Zurich, Harvey Nash is looking for a skilled
Requirement Engineer
The role of a Requirement Engineer in the area of Risk Management offers daily job variation and enables a good overview about different actors, processes and tasks within different software engineering projects in the mortgages & risk area.
Main challenges are working for several application development projects in parallel and need to understand business processes. Furthermore Requirement Engineers are main contact person for Business Partners during project phase and therefore have to bring an customer oriented mind set.
Your tasks:
- Perform stakeholder analysis and planning of requirement engineering activities.
- Elicit, analyze, document, support prioritization of, specify, manage and communicate requirements, describe processes and propose improvements to process, ensure a common understanding between business and IT
- Realization of project artefacts for relevant phase of business initiative (Business Requirements, Feature List, Requirement List, Specifications, Use Cases etc.)
- Tight collaboration with Business Partner, IT Application Owner, Project Manager and Test Manager.
- Contribute to a reduction of implementation risks by delivering high quality requirement specifications
- Assures quality measures in collaboration with Test Manager and Test Engineer
Your background:
- Several year of experience as a Requirement Engineer
- Experienced with Agile (SCRUM)
- Experience in application development projects following incremental and iterative approaches (RUP, Agile)
- Banking experience
- Experience in regulatory monitoring and controls area
