Description:
For the Firmwide Risk IT area of one of our clients - a major international bank headquartered in Zurich - we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager with extensive experience in Market Risk and/or Credit Risk from large financial organisations. Firmwide Risk IT support the business in calculating and reporting regulatory-significant risk metrics across the full firm (enterprise wide risk).
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Business Stakeholders in Risk Control and Business Change Management Team to define requirements and design IT-solutions.
- Work closely with IT Delivery Team to coordinate implementation of solutions.
- Keep track of status, issues, risks, and dependencies of projects.
- Communicate the status of projects as well as relevant risks and issues to stakeholders.
- This is abroad and challenging role that requires a combination of business, project management and technical experience, coupled with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Long-term contract (with option to go perm) position.

Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent experience; FRM, CFA advantageous; PMI/Prince 2 etc. is an asset too.
- 5+ years of experience in in a large financial organisation or in a large IT service provider in the financial sector
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of Market Risk and/or Control processes/methods and the associated IT-solutions
- Be a self-starter, show initiative and a strong sense of ownership. Willing to take on accountability.
- Well structured working style, reliable and dedicated, ability to handle a significant number of dependencies.
- Team player with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a Matrix organization. Experience in working in globally dispersed teams.
- Fluency in English
