Project Manager - Supply Chain

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a Supply Chain Project Manager to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.
Your role:
The Supply Chain PM will form an integral part of the big change program which has recently been approved. Transforming Procurement & Supply Chain through building of Capacity (Skills & Capability) and through the identification and deployment of supply chain innovation. This PM role will be critical of success to both programs. The role will work with many internal and external partners. The external partners will be a mix between national governments, other funding organisations and other innovative/capacity building focussed organisations .
Your responsibilities:
Gather and review for a defined set of countries;
- The existence and availability of Supply Chain courses at vocational, college and University level.
- Coaching programs in the field procurement and supply management plans (PSM)
- Existing 'on the job' training & education providers in the field of Procurement & Supply Chain management.
- Collect initiatives on Capacity building from other organisations across Africa and Asia.
- (Assist in) organizing capacity building planning sessions with countries and Partners to discuss the capacity base line assessments and actions plans in place .
- Assist to assemble a set policies, guidelines, tools, SOPs and other best practices from countries, work with the World Health Organisation to transform opportunities into policy.
- Understand and compile/organize/summarize documents related to existing Capacity building improvement initiatives in the countries
- Help in aggregation, analysis and presentation of the data & information related to the expected benefits the Supply Chain can expect by investing in Procurement & Supply Chain Capacity.
- Compile a set of KPIs/indicators in use in the countries to track progress.
- Help to map the "as is" situation in a set number of countries
- Develop case study material - success stories, lessons learnt - for use generally to influence the direction of Procurement & Supply Chain strengthening investments in other countries.
- Report on progress, communicate with stakeholders and drive program momentum
To deliver the required results, it's necessary that you have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in complex Program/Project management
- Strong analytical experience in business or supply chain and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and in writing (PPT, Word, Exel)
- Previous experience and knowledge of working with stakeholderrs and networks in developing countries, especially Africa.
- Fluent in English, working knowledge of French
