Background/Context

Due to a peak of activity and for the backfill of a team member in the procurement team, our client is requiring administrative support in procurement operations.

Service description

  • Providing support in procurement operations including but not limited to:
  • Supporting program assistants on supplier onboarding.
  • Registering, controlling BEF (Bid Evaluation Form) according to contract terms, contract signature collection.
  • Creating Purchase Requests and supporting the accruals process (naming convention, commodity use, accruals).
  • Obtaining services approval from sponsors, invoice review and reconciliation.
  • Collecting information and other adhoc reporting tasks as necessary.
  • Supporting Business in the maintenance and subscription renewals that do not require negotiations.

Competencies

Must haves

  • At least 4-5 years experience in supporting operational procurement
  • 4-5 years experience on SAP MM procurement portal (as a user)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)
  • Proven 2 years experience in Contract Management
  • Meticulous controlling/numeric skills, attention to detail and demonstrated focus on quality
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet aggressive timelines
  • Shows initiative and a vested interest in improving and optimizing current working processes
  • Excellent written & oral communication in English
  • Quick learner
  • Able to work with little supervision
