Associate Scientist wanted for one of our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Education in laboratory environment or equivalent with general knowledge of Cell Biology and/or Immunology
- Several years of solid work experience within a pharmaceutical environment
- Good understanding of scientific experiments such as primary cell, antibiotic free and large scale cultures along with culture maintenance and isolation of specific cell type in large scale
- General insight of analytical trials such as cell count, viability and morphology
- Adherence to documentation standards and DQP management along with lab upkeep and maintenance in BSL2 environment
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Collaborating with an inter-disciplinary team in an international environment and reporting directly to the team head of Cell Process Development (CPD) in a BSL2 environment
- Performing cell isolation activities for Process Development using human primary cells from Bone Marrow
- Participating in the entire cell process from start (incoming Bone Marrow) to finish (Cryopreservation) after cell culture and gene-modification of the cells
- Implementing large and small-scale experiment in adherence to the requirements
