Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience with Label Management Systems ideally with OPAL.
This is a contracting role based in the Basel area and planned to start beginning of June until the end of the year with extension opportunities.

Project Background
For this role we are looking for a Business Analyst to support the project manager.
Several different print systems are used for printing out the same label from different systems. All these label designs and print systems need to be maintained and supported, therefore we would like to simplify the system landscape and implement one printing and labeling solution for all printing activities in the manufacturing area. In this project requirements are gathered and a solution shall be evaluated. A plan for rollout needs to be designed and aligned with different other projects.
Tasks
- Act as the interface between business and IT
- Support Business during Requirement definition phase
- Understand business processes and propose possible technical solutions
- Ensure proper tracking and closure of tasks on agreed timelines and delivery is according expected quality.
- Act as a SPOC for application supplier for changes, requests and incidents
- Run testing activities for the application in the responsibility area
Ideal Profile:
- 7+ years of experience as Business Analyst
- Very strong experience with Label Management Systems (esp. OPAL would be a big plus)
- Profound experience in creating specification documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ie fluency in German & English)
- Good experience in Project Management
- Former experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain area is a nice to have
- Experience in Pharma GxP environment will be big asset
