For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a

Technical lead

Start: ASAP

Location: Zurich

Duration: initial contract of 6 months

In this role you will work with the global data warehouse platform to support evolving regulatory needs for General Counsel providing consistent and high quality data.

Skills/Experience requested to be successful in this role:

  • Hands-on experience in data warehouse programming and architecture.
  • Technical leadership experience
  • Working experience on managed EDW platforms. Profound knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter is a must
  • Hands-on experience managing large number of upstream and downstream data feeds and applications
  • Deep understanding of big data architecture, challenges and migration options
  • Hands-on experience on Cloudera Hadoop platform is a great plus

    • Added value would be

  • Agile development and continuous integration
  • Jira and Wiki confluence experience
  • Proven experience in technical coaching and managing medium-size (up to 20 people) distributed teams
  • Development experience on a big data platform: Kafka, Sqoop, HDFS, Spark, Python, SQL and non-SQL DB experience
  • Good interpersonal skills, able communicator, highly autonomous
