I am keen to discuss some project opportunities we are currently working on. Our client (one of the top 10 biopharma companies) is looking for resources for their new greenfield facility project to come on board in a hands-on delivery and execution role. This would be for a initial 6 month contract, with the possibility of being extended. On their behalf, I am currently looking for a:Downstream Processing Engineer:
- 5-10 years experience on Downstream Equipment and processes
- Proven experience in detailed design, equipment procurement and vendor management
- Proven in-depth knowledge on system completion, commissioning and qualification
- Broad based ability to work collaboratively with internal operational functions, external engineering houses, construction installation contractors, equipment vendors and suppliers
Dispensary & Logistics Senior Lead Engineer:
- 10-15 years experience on Dispensary & Powder Handling, Media and Buffer Preparation, Logistics and processes
- Proven experience in detailed design, equipment procurement and vendor management
- Proven in-depth knowledge on system completion, commissioning and qualification
- Broad based ability to lead and work collaboratively with internal operational functions, external engineering houses, construction installation contractors, equipment vendors and suppliers
Document Manager:
- 10-15 years experience on document management, control and all associated processes within a major capital project environment with some green-field experience desirable
- Proven document management experience covering the project phases of detailed design, equipment procurement, vendor management, engineering house management and client document management with many differing application systems
- Managing, coordinating and reporting on document transmittals, review cycles, archiving, retrieval, repository
- Managing transition of handover from project environment to operating facility with full documentation index and repositories
- Broad based ability to lead and work collaboratively with internal operational functions, external engineering houses, construction installation contractors, equipment vendors and suppliers
Some common broad requirements include:
- Proven experience in the Biotech industry particularly with major capital project experience
- Proven ability to work successfully within teams including all internal functions (Operations, Quality, Engineering) & external partners (Design Houses, Architects, Consultants, Vendors, Contractors, Partners)
- Competencies required include ethics, integrity, trust, respect, collaboration, diversity and approachability
- Strong preference for German speaking in all roles
- Roles are based in Bern with travel to external partners and vendors expected
