For a 4 months project of our client, an international banking company, we are looking for aJunior Data Analyst – FATCA / US Tax Regulations (3914)
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Data Analyst to work on a high profile project within an established Swiss bank. In this position, you will support the Entity Management Team within the FATCA Desk
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent education
- Experience in working as a Data Analyst, preferably within the tax department of a financial department
- Excellent knowledge in Excel (Pivot, V-Lookup, Formulas), PowerPoint and in SharePoint
- Very good organisation skills and the ability to prioritise work
- "Can-do" attitude and attention to detail
- Analytical approach
- Teamplayer who can work well under pressure
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Review and complete IRS Portal requirements
- Update the IRS portal for changes to entities and deregister entities that are no longer relevant
- Submit information concerning entities and registrations for FATCA via IRS Portal
- Record transfer receipt of Global Intermediary Identification Number (GIIN) from IRS Portal to the internal System
- Update lists and publish the status of GIINs and FATCA forms in the Intranet for internal use
- Update systems with the details of FATCA submissions
- Maintain ongoing review of information that entered the IRS Portal
- Provide general administrative support to FATCA Desk
- Review current access rights
- Generate report of overdue MICOS certifications
