For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for aFENICS Subject Matter Expert or Business Analyst
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months initial contract + very likely extensions
Location: Zurich
Essential skills
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a business analysis role
• Good understanding of FX derivatives instruments
• Good knowledge of GFI / FENICS
• Must be able to produce high quality functional and technical
documentation intended for business users as well as development teams
• Possess excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills;
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential
Desirable skills
• Experience in supporting trading desks
Job description:
• FENICS SME interfacing with users and senior stakeholders
• experience in Business Analysis and Project Management
• 3rd level support for FENICS (incident and problem handling)
• good understanding of derivative instruments in the FX market (FX Options)
• contribute to various internal projects as FENICS representative
• review, definition and execution of IT and business concepts for FENICS
• experience in working in a large financial institution
Break down of duties:
50% of the time contributing to various internal projects as FENICS. About 35% is spent on coordinating with various stake holders i.e. business users, business engineers, production support for testing. About 10-15% time spent 3rd Level Support

FENICS is a GFI product which supports all aspects of FX option activity from Pricing, Automated Price Distribution, Trading, Risk Management and Post trade Processing (STP, Trade Reporting, etc.)
