For a longer term project at our banking client based in Zurich we look for an experienced

Senior IT Project Manager EMEA Branches (3315)

In this challenging international role you lead and manage IT projects across our client's various Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) branches.

Your qualifications:

- Multiple years of experience in a similar role managing medium-sized projects (1+ Mio CHF) across regions/countries in banking or financial services
- Hands on practical project management skills, a “can do” approach and a proven track record of delivering banking or financial services IT projects
- Good knowledge of all key Project Management process areas and best practices
- Experience in a CMMi certified environment or equivalent would be an advantage
- PMP Certification or equivalent would be of advantage
- Ability to resolve conflicts amicably and create a positive working team environment to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders
- Feel comfortable working with people from different cultures, at different levels of seniority, in a dynamic and international setup,
- Ability and appetite to take short to mid-term mobility assignments and to travel up to 60%, mainly in Europe
- Fluent English language skills. Any other language (especially German) would be of advantage

- Ensure the right staffing and management of IT resources and maintain the project plan with resource estimation, time and budget requirements
- To guide the project team and monitor the project with attention to risks and mitigations, resources, time, budget and quality
- Manage project scope and ensure adherence to the project plan as well as the tracking of milestones, and management of changes requests
- Responsibility to negotiate and manage outsourcing vendors to ensure timely delivery of their deliverables
- Support the Head of Regional Project Management by overseeing various other projects for IT EMEA branches
