For an IT Service Provider Project in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedPMO LEAD - Global IT Program in Insurance Envrionment (3292)
The sucessful candidate will show a track record of at least 6-8 years in a professional PMO roles ideally with experience within a Program Management Office.
Your qualifications:
- 6-8 years project management experience and/or working in a leading position within a large Program Management Office resp. in a Business Management unit (e.g. as lead controller)
- Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
- Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
- Self-motivated, dynamic personality which’s able to work under pressure, willingness to go the extra mile when required
- Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a support perspective
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups
Your responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to maintain and update the project management framework and disciplines necessary to support a PMO
- Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with stakeholders and brokering relationships at all levels
- Support and advise Stream Leads and Release Managers to efficiently plan and book their resources, as well as to properly implement the Change Request process
- Understand the deliverables of internal and external PMO customers and contribute to success through cooperative and collegial processes
- Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects
- Assist in managing enterprise level resource allocation, including adjustments based on emerging business or technical opportunities and challenges
- Develop positive relationships with managers and staff to enable the PMO to provide support including facilitation, tracking and reporting on projects, and training
- Specialist projects as agreed with the line Manager to support the business requirements of the organisation. In addition, will be prepared to carry out any other reasonable duties as requested
