Senior Director Accounting and external Reporting (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Define global accounting principles, policies and guidelines such as the Financial Reporting & Accounting Manual (FRAP); responsible for external financial reporting (quarterly, with cluster / country specific regulations, disclosures, and support documents)
- Ultimate responsibility for accounting including global responsiblitiy for local GAAP/statutory reporting and completeness of respective filing
- Responsible for the compliance of the financial reporting with regulations and directives of the SIX, including impelementation and ownership of processes and tools required to fulfil the respective requirements
- Ensure group management (i.p. CEO and CFO) as well as the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee and the NCC are supplied with compliant, reliable and relevant financial information
- Develop and implement short- and long-term finance goals, policies, and operating procedures for the Group (Acts as a key contact to the stakeholders and actively assess the finance org.’s performance against financial plans and long-term strategies
- Supports the improvements / developments of ERP systems
Main qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor, Master)
- Experience in Finance or Accounting Public Accounting background or prior Controller experience (Swiss CPA)
- Driven, accountable, strong verbal and oral communication skills with ability to translate strategies into actionable items
- Profound skills in external and internal financial reporting, application of accounting principles and tax regulations, including financial decision making and internal controls
- Fluent English skills are mandatory
- Proficient in MS Office, incl. Excel and PowerPoint, understanding of accounting systems / ERP
