For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
eCommunications Platform Engineer & Support
In this role, you will support Compliance and Front Office teams with data spanning the global organization to solve emerging challenges of unstructured data.
Your Qualifications:
- 4+ years professional experience as a Plattform Engineer with strong knowledge of Elastic Search, Data Search, and Relational Query Language
- Experience in a global IT organization with touchpoints in compliance and surveillance-related applications
- Strong skills in Python, Ansible, Salt, and DevOps technologies as well as Linux and BASH scripting
- Good know-how in Elastic Cluster maintenance, PostgreSQL and Curl Commands
- Experience with Service Management i.e. Release Management, Incident Management as well as experience with deployment toolsets like Odyssey & Git
- Innovative mindset to create scripts to improve and optimize the technical operational process
- Dedicated problem solver with production support experience and an ability to cooperate within a multidisciplinary, global team
- Self-starter with a strong curiosity for extracting knowledge from data and the ability to elicit technical requirements from a non-technical audience
- Experience in handling quarterly maintenance activities, space maintenance & environment monitoring, and catering to audit requirements
- Familiar with data manipulation and transformation by using Pentaho plus visualization by using Tableau
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Platform installation on Linux systems plus upgrading
- Creating batch jobs using Python, Jenkins, UNIX and Ansible
- Package and automation of software and batch releases
- Support and troubleshooting
