Our client, one of the top Biotech companies based in the Zug area, is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer with strong Power BI expertise to join their team.
This is a contract position and will initially be for a duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension. The desired start date is 3rd January.
Responsibilities:
- Working with functional teams, for requirement gathering, documenting, and development of reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
- Responsible for translating business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources.
- Proven experience with data ingestion and data transformation in Power BI.
- Responsible for creation of reports and dashboards and provide support for their usage.
- Provide technical assistance and cross training to data & report end users.
- Help business users for generation of ad-hoc reports.
- Must be able to perform duties with moderate supervision and respond to direction.
- Ability to manage priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
- Responsible for documenting team processes and report solutions.
Must Haves:
- Minimum of 3 years of report development required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with basic Power BI skills.
- Conceptual understanding of the design and construction of data models in the Power BI platform.
- Requires an ability to act as technical representative for BI development.
- Preferred Programming/Scripting experience .
- Ability to work in a team environment with both technical and business members.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to interact across multiple functional areas and explain technical information in a simplified manner to support user training and overall compliance.
